Default Eibach shocks.

Does anyone on here have experience with the Eibach leveling struts and shocks? Looking to level my truck and there are many options. These are less expensive and Eibach is a good name and they seem to have a lot of the same features of others I.e. different heights new springs not the factory reuse. So any input would be great thanks.

Had the Eibach level shocks installed in the front, kept the factory springs, set at next to highest setting (1.4'). Raised truck about an inch and a half, installed the matching Eibach shocks on rear. Truck handles better, rides a bit stiffer than factory shocks but doesn't rock back and forth when turning onto a surface that has a different angle to it. That used to drive me nuts, how the truck would wallow back and forth numerous times. Had Bilsteins on the rear, ended up buying Eibach when the Bilsteins weren't available. The Eibach shocks are a bit stiffer than the Bilsteins, took more pressure to compress the Eibach. Factory shocks are a pile of CRAP!

I just went through this install recently. The springs are way thicker than the stock spring, however I paired them with the bilstein 5100 set on the lowest perch setting. You can basically get what you pictured for like $150 less than that package with the bilstein/Eibach combo. Either way you are forced to do lots of compressing of the springs.

I'm running the Eibach leveling struts/rear shock setup at the max (2.1") front level setting. As said above, huge improvement to the street ride in terms of feeling more solid and grounded, and I've been satisfied with the performance off-road doing some overland and backcountry level roads (no crawling). Part of me wishes I had gone with a coilover setup for better off-road performance, but I don't make it out as often as I'd like, and Eibach has been a good (and cheaper) Bilstein alternative for me.

This kit is VERY popular! All of our shocks and springs are made here at our facility in Corona, California. The front shocks are Ride-Height Adjustable, so the 2.7" lift is achieved at the lowest perch setting (when paired with our Lift Springs). This kit was designed to absorb all of the imperfections on the trails, while still giving a comfortable experience on the highway. If you have any questions about this Kit, or any of our products, please feel free to contact me at Koceguera @ eibach.com. I'm here to help!

Is there a unique tuning for the 2.7L 4x4? I know the 2.7L is the lightest of the engines.

I was in the same boat as many and bought the Eibachs when the Bilsteins were out of stock last year. I set it at 2.1 inches and am totally happy with the quality/look/ride/performance of my truck.

Your gonna regret it. You arent rock crawling or overland, and the factory guy will tell you anything to sell his product. I've been installing shocks and struts for 25 years I know what I speak of. I didnt recommend and factory part. Before you waste you money on some fancy stuff.( even the guy saying he did rock crawling wishes he did cool overs). You should at least look at the reflex product. Also do a google review of them all.
