Typically the max you can run on a factory tune and factory fuel system is E10 / 10% ethanol unless it's a flex fuel specific model. We do offer ethanol specific tunes depending on the model / engine size, but most will require some type of fuel system upgrade such as our high pressure fuel pump for the EcoBoost 3.5L models.
Here is an example of our upgraded Firestorm High Pressure Fuel Pump for Ford direct injection 3.5L EcoBoost engines. This would give our customers the ability to run an ethanol blend tune such as 93 octane E30 with the custom tune set up accordingly. We offer the Firestorm High Pressure Fuel Pump in standard or Severe duty versions which both require custom tuning specifically for the HPFP upgrade.
