Runs out fine misses at idle then dies 2017 f150 5.0 anyone else having this problem and is there an easy fix? Thanks

TL;DR -- there are many possible causes, but most folks find it's some combination of gunked up or malfunctioning VCT solenoids, cam phasers, or the VCT oil screens in the ends of the camshaft. Or sometimes just worn out or dirty oil, if you're lucky. Find someone who knows how to diagnose cam phaser behavior in real time using FORSCAN.
