DTC Code B1115
So I have a stupid question
Ran my DTC codes for the first time now that I have FORScan. Code B1115 popped up in my BCM module.
Description says High Mounted Stop Lamp Control, Incorrect Current Consumption, Suspect Incorrect Bulb Fitted
it can’t be that simple the rear stop lamp is LED strip don’t see how there can be a mix up
2018 Platinum
thanks for your feedback

Is the DTC active or is it historic? FORScan should tell you.
What is the failure type or failure byte? This is the number after the colon [:].
Have you made any parameter changes using FORScan? Sometimes during writing information to a module ghost DTCs can be issued and they just need to be cleared.

If all said above checks OP, you might have a dreaded leak (common issue), which triggered the fault during a rain, or after a wash. I'd check that all light functions work, clear the DTCs, and buy a new gasket, and replace it. Good luck.
