DTC After 23 to 36 Conversion
Hi all -
Just did the 23 to 36 gallon swap in my 2018 STX, everything went fine except i broke a retaining clip while trying to remove one of the connectors. It is the one that points to the right at a 90 degree angle from the fuel pump when looking towards the back of the truck The one that is the next one clockwise from the electric harness on top of the fuel pump. The connector locks in pretty well but the retaining clip is definitely broken. I finished the job, filled it with 5 gallons, cycled the key, and the car turned on no problem. Went to the gas station, filled it with another 5 gallons....made the short drive to my house...changed the ForScan codes for the new tank and that worked beautifully. Went from 70 DTE to 124. I don't want to fill all the way because it looks like i might have to drop the tank again if i need to replace that hose...Picture above is the piece with the broken retainer.
Two questions:
1) What are my options to fix my mistake with the retaining clip? I think it is a vent hose that is part of FL3Z-9034-A which i guess i could replace. I don't think i can fix the retainer. It looks like it will be a pain because i'll have to drop the tank again to replace tho whole part.
2) I have a TMobile hotspot connected to my OBD port and when i turned my car on first time it gave me a new DTC (P00<6) Powertrain, SAE, Fault:<6. I have no idea what this means.
Any help on either topic would be greatly appreciated....thanks!
