Default DRL question

Sorry if this has been covered, I didn't see anything on it. First, my truck was originally sold in Canada so it has the always-on DRL (the white outline around the side of the light). I can correct that in Forscan, just haven't done it yet.

What I want is the switch on the dash set to parking lights, just to turn on the yellow turn markers, which I think I can do in Forscan as well. Ideally, I would love to have the outline on the side also be amber, and on with the turn markers as parking lights.

So the question is, once I turn off the Canadian always-on DRL,
1. will I get just the amber turn markers to be on as the parking light if I turn off the constant DRL?
2. without replacing the entire headlight, can I change the white outline to amber (I think the pre-2018 had these). I have OEM 2019 LED headlights as a reference.

Thanks in advance if anyone has an answer for this.

Don't know all the answers to your questions, however years ago I did sell a I believe it was 2008 F550 to a gentleman who flew down from Canada to Texas to pay and take delivery. He said that he had already checked importing it into Canada and the one thing that would have to be changed was to have the full time Daytime running light activated. His dealer charged him $100 to do this and certify it as Canada legal.

thanks @jonrjen, I have read a bunch about Canada requiring it, and I didn't realize mine was doing it until yesterday. As soon as I am in Drive, the DRL are on regardless of the switch. In every vehicle I have ever owned, unless conditions are really bad, I drive with the parking or what my dad used to call 'running' lights on, which have usually just been the ambers on the corner.
