Default Driver's side mirror replacement

I'm posting this question as a long shot. Hopefully someone will know.

I have a 2015 F150 XLT. I got in a fight with the neighborhood gate and tore off my driver's side mirror. I'm looking at the replacement for my specific mirror assembly with turn signal, no blind spot sensor, and no spot light. The price is significantly higher than if I bought the mirror that has the blind spot sensor and spot light. By over $100.

Does anyone know if the mirror with the blind spot and spot light would work with my truck? I'm not asking if the blind spot sensor and spot light would work; not worried about that. Just want to make sure the signal, power, and heat work as normal.

Thanks in advance.

Whoa you're right. That is weird.

Will the mirror work, yes, the blind spot won't since you don't have the module.

Edit: well, if the harness is the same it will for the turn signal, but if the harness is different the. You'll need to splice.

Search eBay and craigslist for the mirror as well and don't be scared to check junkyards.

On my 13 I had to take it over to the dealer for a side mirror issue and they looked long and hard at the mirror to make sure there was no damage to my mirror. I asked them why and their response was because Ford makes them do it, but that the mirror is over $800 a piece. Thankfully mine was just a software issue. My original was that it was not locking into place properly after I open and closed the mirrors using the one touch button.

Yes, if there are ANY marks on the outside casing of the mirror Ford will call it damage and won't cover it. They call for a lot of side mirrors if replaced under warranty so they can inspect them. A lot of people are unaware that just because a dealership sends it in as warranty doesn't mean Ford agrees and will actually pay them for the repair.
