I've only had my 2016 SC lariat for three weeks when the driver's air bag light comes on for a while then goes out for a while. There is nothing interfering with the sensors, seatbelt on. Has anyone experience this type of problem

 

Haven't really heard anyone else on the forum with that issue. Sounds like a trip to the dealer is in order.

 

Thanks for the search. Stopped by the dealer today and had it checked out. There was a code indicating a problem with the sensor located in the steering column. Part is on order and should be in sometime early next week. I was told that Ford was aware of such problem but there were few. Part on order and distributed on an emergency basis. ( oh and I forgot to tell you I'm Sam Sausage Head). I'll keep you and Forum informed on how this turns out.
