My driver side tail light does not work. The brake light, turn signals and back up light work just not the tail light. I thought it was just the cheap light I put in so I ordered new ones and the same thing happened. Any idea on what it could be? The connection at the tail light looks fine

 

It's not uncommon for the wiring harness to rub through where it goes up into the box corner. My 18 had no stop or turn lights but the running lights worked. The pass side already had been repaired in one spot and it was rubbed through and all corroded in a completely different spot.
