Default Driver Information Center(DIC) Problem

I changed my oil the other day and accidentally didn’t tighten the oil fill cap properly. It set a code and the Check Engine light came on. It also caused my DIC to display the trailer information. I can change it to anything else but when the truck is turned off then back on it returns to the trailer information.

I normally keep it on “tire pressure”. Before I even drove the vehicle I did tighten the oil fill cap. It was only lose for a few minutes while I checked for oil filter leaks. Just a habit to make sure the filter doesn’t leak and the oil drain plug is in and tight!
I hooked up a old code reader I had and cleared the code for the oil fill cap and the Check Engine light went off and has stayed off. But, the DIC keeps reverting back to the trailer information.

How can I fix this where the DIC stays on the setting I want? Any help and advice would be appreciated.

Maybe it "thinks" a trailer is hooked up. Maybe go in and "disconnect" the trailer in the DIC.

The DIC shows that the trailer is disconnected.

My 2015 Lariat had the tow screen issue when it was about a year old, not associated with an oil change just started doing it one day, took it to the dealer and they claimed there was a software upgrade and it fixed the problem and has been fine since.

The truck is still under warranty so I guess I will just take it to the dealer and let them take a look. It just to annoying to keep it like it is.
