Default Driver Door Replacement - Need Advice

Found out today that the rattling I was experiencing in my drivers side door can only be fixed with the replacement of the entire door. I've never owned a new truck and am not exactly happy with having to replace the door while the truck only has 500 miles on it and I've owned for 3 weeks. Any advice on things to look out for? Anyone else experienced this?

Thanks for your help.

Let them swap out the door and see if it fixes the problem.

What color is your truck?

Good luck getting them to match it exactly. And hanging the door straight.

What, exactly is "rattling" such that replacing a door will fix it? Are they replacing the mirror, window and door locks, buttons, wiring, etc. too? Or moving all that stuff from your old door to the new one?

Truck is Caribou color...that's exactly what I'm worried about is getting color to match perfectly and ensuring that door is hung correctly. What I'm being told is the rattle is a weld that has broken loose inside the door???

I'm not sure if they're replacing anything else that attaches to the door....but my guess is that they're just moving from one to the other.

Any other advice? I've never had any body work done to any of my trucks in the past, so I'm new as to what to look for, watch out for.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. Let them do it. The platinum tri-coat white might be hard to match but caribou shouldn't be that bad.
