Default Driver camera blue screen

Have a 2015 Lariat with 360 camera. Last year I had Ford replace my damper motor to fix my recirculated air. After that my driver camera would intermittently turn blue. Took to dealership and they couldn’t replicate. Finally got it to act up and the write up said

“CS driver side overview camera is not working when in reverse shows D/S as blue caused by failed image processing module APIM passed hardware test”

Quoted at $985 for part (IPMB?) and $325 labor. That being said I have noticed that when the outside temperature is 75 or colder the camera works fine. When it’s hotter than 75 the driver side is blue. If the IPMB is bad wouldn’t I always have a blue screen? Could this possibly be a short somewhere after the damper motor was replaced and the dash taken apart (hot - expands / cold - contracts)?

These were taken yesterday a few hours apart

Wanted to bump this for another look. Getting warmer now and starting to see this blue screen more and more as temps stay consistently above 75.

Isn't that camera in the underside of the mirror? I have no idea how to even begin to access it or even what to do if I did, but you might!
