Well warranty was denied because the truck has a rebuilt title. I guess I will be on my own with getting this fixed.

I brought the truck to the transmission shop that ford recommended and they dropped the transmission yesterday and once he got it down he said the fluid was good and did not smell burnt. His first guess is the torque converter has failed. They said he will be pulling the clutches and drum from the trans case and looking at the internals today but just by glancing he said it looks good as expected.

I just got word that the main culprit of the failure was caused by the pump assembly had failed. This was pretty common from what I read in the 09-14 f150s... looks like it may be going to linger into the 15+ plus as well.

You expected Ford to honor the warranty with a salvage title? Let me guess, this truck was a victim of Harvey?
