2018 F150 Xlt with step, cam and lock.
Looking at a fifth wheel camper and I'd get a flow thru tailgate. I see how to unplug the wiring harness and remove the tailgate but I'm curious if I'll get any messages or codes when I drive with it off?

 

I don't believe so....I think mine has a plug in the glove box you pop on the harness when the tailgate is removed?
