Default Door Trim

Ones anyone know or have experience with changing out the trim on the doors? Can the carbon fiber inserts be purchased separately? Are there aftermarket inserts one can purchase?

I had a rattle in my drivers door, so I removed the door panel to inspect. While the trim pieces (wood or Carbon fiber) are separate per say, the are not attached with clips or fasteners, rather they are "plastic welded" to the door panel. I didn't like the faux wood on the lariat so I wrapped them in vinyl. I did not explore aftermarket options, doubt they are available.

Just what I was looking for. Where and how did you get the vinyl to wrap them? Did you do the glove box area too? This is my favorite part about the sport package and couldn't see spending $800 to get it for that and give up a chrome grill for a black Xl looking plastic one.

I don't get why they put the fake wood trim on the Lariat, just makes it look cheap when everything else is otherwise really nicely finished. Definitely appreciate any ideas on this too

The vinyl I bought off Amazon, 3M Scotchprint 1080 Carbon Fiber Vinyl Flex Wrap Black CF12 60"x24". It was shipped from Metro Restyling (metrorestyling.com) $34 bucks. I purchased to do my "B" pillars, didn't like the lariat faux wood so wrapped them with left over vinyl. Product is awesome and really easy to work with. I have not tried the glove box or the retractable console cover yet. Search "B pillar options" and "What mods have you done to your truck" for additional photos.
