Default Door recall

So I have an appointment next Friday for the door lock recall. I'm hesitant to do this because I have experienced zero problems. And I'm a if it ain't broke don't fix it kinda guy. I worry that they make something worse. Has anyone experienced any problems when having this recall done? Anything specific I should look for? Loose door panels, door misaligned, etc?

If you've had no issues I'd skip your appointment. Many of us had to go in multiple times to get it fixed. Hindsight being 20/20, I may have just dealt with the few instances of it not unlocking versus all the trips to the dealer.

I would not take it in. Not doing it on my 16. I let them do a recall on my 15 Lariat ACC [cruise control] They ruined the truck. No issues before and plenty after. They never could get it right. Finally traded the truck, it's all good now.

I hadn't had any issues but had the latch recall done in December. Truck was returned in perfect condition.

I’ve gotten three recalls in the mail. Door locks, tailgate lock, and seat bolt. I haven’t been in yet. Experienced no problems yet as well.

I'm leery of getting the recall work done too. Even though I have great confidence in my dealer's service department, I've experienced no problems at all with my door locks in spite of some pretty ugly winter weather this year. I'm putting it off at least until they've done a few hundred other vehicles...

In the same boat. No issues and reluctant to get it done.
