Default Door module problems

Hello all. I’ve got a problem that’s been plaguing me for a while now. I have After market tow mirrors on a 15 lariat. About a month ago the blinker on the driver side mirror wasn’t working anymore. After talking with the company i got them from (boost auto parts) we found that it wasn’t a mirror issue. I traced the problem to my driver door control module. It hd power coming in but no power out to the mirror. We’ll longer story shorter i bought a new module through Ford today and got it installed. The blinker works but the mirror will now not power fold and the mirror glass will not adjust with the driver setting (passenger mirror will). Any ideas? I’m ready to lose my mind with this damn issue.

Did you save the original As Built data from the old door module and program it into the new door module?

They need your VIN to make sure they send you the correct part, they don’t program it for you. You need to program it or bring it to a dealer and ask them to do it for you. Read the Forscan sticky at the top of this forum section, it provides all information needed to back up the module data and restore it. If it seems like too much effort, you’ll need to have a dealer do it for you, probably for 1 hour labor at whatever rate they charge.
