Default Door Mirror Camera Question

I damaged my passenger side door mirror on my 2018 Lariat and the dealership wanted $1,500 for a replacement. So instead, I went to my local auto-wreckers and they sourced a replacement at 1/4 of the cost. However, when I picked it up today i noticed it did not include the camera at the bottom of the mirror for the 360 camera. It does however have the plastic knock-out where the camera would be. The camera on the mirror i damaged is still working, so I am wondering if anyone knows if i can simply remove it from teh damaged mirror, and install it in the new mirror knock-out? Before I go ahead and start disassembling the mirror from the truck I thought I'd find out if anyone knows if this is possible. Thanks in advance!

Good luck with project! I had an incident like that with a door handle and dealer didn’t even look at door handle just quoted me 800 for new handle, “do you want to do it?” Lol I walked out and googled how to take my door apart and taking it apart and putting it back together fixed this issue, someone tried breaking into and broke my key cylinder out of place so I guess the dissemble and reassemble fixed itz
didnt know part shops/junk yards can search around for a part! That’s neat
