Default Door locks

Hello, my name is Mark. I am a new member here. I specialize in bumpers, both steel and plastic. Looking forward to learning and growing.

I have a 2015 F150 lariat. The door switches on both doors stopped working. However the key fob and the touch sensitive door handles still work. any thoughts?

Thank you in advance, Mark 28

Master door switch?

Fully charge your battery with a charger and get it load tested. All sorts of weird things happen with these F150s if the voltage gets too low.

If you are going to work much on your truck, I recommend you get FORScan and an OBDLink adapter to use with a Windows laptop. The first step on just about all problem analysis should be a DTC scan. Don't waste your money on an OBDII code reader. They only communicate with the powertrain related modules and only read standard OBDII DTCs and will miss any OEM specific codes.

There is a sticky thread at the top of this forum section. See Post #1.

I second low battery. These vehicles have a power shedding algorithm that will cut these off to conserve power. Fully charge battery and it will start working again. Also, when you charge, be sure to connect the negative lead to a good chassis ground, so that the current sensor near the battery "sees" that the battery is charged and updates the computers perceived SOC. This will in turn reactivate the disabled features.
