Looks like someone tried to pry your door handles off. Do a search using the word "jammer" and lots of threads will show up.

Would you think there was be Atleast one scratch on one of the door I handles? I don’t have that but I heard that the latch recall can cause this when they take everything off to fix it

when you open your door the handle comes out about an inch. there is a harness with several wires in a round bunch. one may have come loose.

Yep I had this happen to my 2016 also. And it wasn't from someone trying to pry in.

I have had door latch recall done twice and noticed it after the first time.

Dealer said wasn't an issue. Some of mine was broken and then it dried out and broke off. I have had no problems with it since they have broken off. None showing on mine now.

Looks like the rubber bands I keep finding underneath the truck. They must have had some purpose during assembly, but didn't get removed. I have a 2019 SuperCab with the 6.5 box built in Dearborn.

This has been an issue for a long time. The first time I saw this was on my 2010. There is a gasket around the handle that fails over time. The gasket runs the full perimeter around the handle. You will see a little piece fall out here and there. No this was not from someone trying the break in.

I have just had the same issue with my 2018 Lariat. I heard a sloshing noise in the back of the truck like there was a half drunk bottle of water back there rolling around. When I opened the rear door (The same one the gasket has failed on) I notice that the water was trapped inside the door. I blew out the drain holes and water ran for about 5 minutes!! Not good.
I called my dealer and they said that the gasket is not covered under warranty and is not available separately, it seems you have to buy the whole handle and then have it painted to color match.
Can this be right? Surely not!!
