I know this has been asked, but before I embark on painting my door handles... is there a part number for the rubber gasket/seal behind the bucket? I know its there because it protrudes from the bucket almost as if it was leaking since I purchased this truck. I called Ford parts and they told me its sold along with the handle, but I would prefer to re use my handles to keep costs on this project down, since he said even the PTM handles would need to be scuffed before painting.
Is this true? He didn't seem to confident if the seals were included or not.

If I do plan to take this to a body shop, I'd like to provide them as much info about this as I can. Please let me know if anybody used any alternatives to avoid purchasing new handle assemblies and how it turned out.
I have searched these forums, and there were mostly unanswered posts about this subject.
