Sounds like a plan, NateBlueJeans15! Thanks for letting us know. I'll keep my eyes peeled () for any new information.

This is great, 2015F150Platinum4x4! Glad to hear that your dealer took great care of you and your truck. If you have any questions moving forward, you know where to find me!

I discovered an alignment issue on the driver side rear door when looking at my truck on dealer's lot. Sounds like it may have been a combination of door alignment and the placement of the molding on the lower frame. Door had a relatively large gap at the top rear and almost no gap at the bottom rear. The initial clue was that it didn't open or close smoothly like the other doors. Sorry -- I didn't take a picture.

Truck was scheduled for a spray in bedliner anyway, so no big deal leaving it with the body shop for an extra day to get the door alignment fixed.

Everything else about the truck rocks....3.5 EB is a beast. It's an XLT, no complaints about the real engine sound and no fake engine noise installed.

Was the dealership very hesitant to do the fix?? I know a lot of people on the forum have this issue, including myself. My drivers side front and rear doors are misaligned and I get a slight whistle when I'm on the highway. I ask because I'm thinking of taking mine to the dealership but have never taken in a vehicle for a warranty repair before (first new vehicle I've ever owned) and I'm afraid the dealership won't want to touch it.

Not at all in my case! Zero hesitation.

No problems taking it and getting the doors adjusted.

Default Door alignment

Ford body shop has mine now. Drivers side the worst, out at the bottom rear front door
Trim work was coming loose too around the half door Windows. It's been three days so far. They say it won't be done until Saturday at the earliest.
