Default Don't know

I don't know if I can wait another 4 weeks now that I just sold my baby yesterday 2010 f150 and guy coming this week to pick it up. Now I have no vehicle but work truck e350 box might have Togo to dealer and see what they got close to what I ordered. Iam going to give it a college try to wait for mine.

Accuratepeter, you're going to need a lot of patience waiting on an order, so if you can prepare yourself for that, I'm sure it'll be worth the wait. I ordered before Christmas. My dealer said 6 - 8 weeks. It was three months last week, still no truck. Cotus dates have come and gone, dealer isn't sharing where my truck is or when I can expect to get it.
I drove to the dealer yesterday to see if maybe it had come in over the weekend. I got all excited when I saw a blue jeans SCREW sitting there. But as I approached the truck and saw XLT rather than Lariat, my excitement quickly dwindled. I have a long road trip coming up this weekend and really wanted to be in the new truck by then. Who knows, if I'll still be driving my Silverado.

I've already done the locate a vehicle, within a good 200 mile radius of where I am, to see if there is anything close to what I ordered. My config must be a little unique. I want the 6.5 bed because I haul firewood and mulch, and will enjoy all the extra space. But I don't tow at all, so the different gear ratios, tow packages or off road packages are all just wasted money for me. So, here I sit, patiently yet another week, waiting for my truck.

56 years old and this is my first ordered vehicle. I have 5 kids and know that waiting for this truck has been harder than waiting for delivery of the kids. Not too sure I'll ever be able to go thru this waiting game again.

I'm sure when it finally comes in I'll be glad I have exactly what I wanted, with no wasted options, but boy is this wait a tough thing to do.

Maybe now that Kansas City is up and running, things will be much smoother for all of you who have recently ordered.

Good luck with whatever you decide.
