Any one else have a problem that the dome light won't go off when you get in and start the truck?...I have to open and slam the door closed to get it to go out...also...I bought the truck new in February 2016....left over 2015....the battery has not given me any trouble ....yet....are people replacing with battery from Ford dealer?....or using others?, and if so...what batteries seem to be best?

 

I have the same problem with my 2019! I have to turn the truck off, open the doors and restart.

 

Weird, can't say I have encountered that dome light issue myself.

I would consider either another OEM or an East Penn manufactured (Such as Napa Legend Premium AGM). I wouldn't buy any other brand or battery.

 

I did replaced my battery, OEM, but it still happens.
