Default Does your truck do this?

XLT 302a so I have the floor shifter in the console..
When your trucks running and in park if you press the brake does you shifter make a click sound and you can feel it every time you press the brake pedal? Only in park?

It's the shift interlock solenoid that prevents you from shifting out of park unless you have your foot on the brake. It's normal, they all do it.

Ok cool... I've have a weird brake pulse when at a full stop so been paying more attention than usual and noticed this.. Thanks guys.

Nope... But have never felt that in a previous vehicle. You could feel it in the shifter in my Tacoma
