My phone supports the codec, but wondering if there is a way to determine what quality and codecs are actually going to Sync and/or supported by Sync.

 

No aptX HD support. Sync is configured with a pretty basic bluetooth profile set, meaning it supports text messages, email notifications, phone calls/notifications, and both mono and stereo bluetooth audio profiles.

It doesn't have any non-industry standard profile support such as aptX or any of the other cell phone makers that have come up with their own compression schemes to simulate higher quality audio over BT.

If you want the best audio quality, it is recommended to play audio over USB instead of BT.
