Default Does Adding OEM Fender Flares Require Drilling?

Hi Guys--I have a 15 XLT Screw, which did not come with the OEM fender flares. Since the fender edge looks a bit unfinished, I thought I would pick up some OEM flares off eBay and put them on. I figured they would screw/snap into holes on the underside of the wheel well, however now that I have them in front of me it seems like installation would require drilling a bunch of holes through the finished side of the fender. This is something I don't feel real comfortable doing to my beautiful new truck!

Does anyone who has installed these or anyone who has taken them off have any insights into this? Do trucks that came with factory flares have holes in the sides of the fenders?

Thanks for any feedback.

I have the OEM flares on my XLT Sport (came with it) and there are few holes in the fenders for these to attach with clips; meaning if I were to take them off there would be holes in the fender.
