Default Do I have a lemon?

Hey everyone looking for some advice here.

My truck has been in the shop 11 times in the past 14months of ownership and 19 000kms

Issued range from
-Wind noise in cab at 3800kms
-Pinion Seal at 4500kms
-No heat in cab at 3800kms
-Pinion seal again around 5-6000kms
-Allignment out at 7400kms
-seat backs not cooling ,tsb performed at 8800kms and still don't cool but was told manufactures design flaw
- Front IWE actuators replaced at 15 000kms
-Front IWE actuators ,valves and 4x4 solenoid at 18 400kms
-Doors not aligned properly and wind noise at 18 400kms
-Drivers side seat bottom not heating at 18 400kms
-Pinion seal again at 19 000kms

At at this point I have zero confidence in this truck , I want to love it but it continually lets me down just when I start to feel good about it.

Is it unreasonable to try and get the dealer to get me out of this truck , I'm open to suggestions thanks for reading

Check lemon laws in your area. In OH it's same issue 3 times(not sure of timeframe) or in shop for 30 consecutive days. I briefly read but sounds like the pinion issue popped up 3 times I'd think that might be a way to start the process.

I'm in Canada so as far as I know there are no lemon laws that can help me, I think at this point I'm best off trying to work with the dealership manager or my salesman to come to a resolution .

I to have had many issues with my truck. I purchased my truck in may 2016. Currently have 19000km.
1 - rear inflatable seat belt buckle faulty at 5km
2 - driver side rear door bolt missing
3 - moon roof knocking - tsb completed
4 - new windshield to repair windnoise - didnt fix it
5 - new driver side mirror to repair wind noise - didn't fix it
6- water leak into cab on driver side floor - took the windshield being taken out 2 more times to pinpoint leak. roof seam seal was leaking. 4 weeks in the shop for the repair
7 - driver side front door seal to repair wind noise - didn't fix it
8 - block heater stopped working - tsb completed
9 - windshield washers frozen - tsb ongoing - parts have been ordered
10 - vent hose hanging down by rear axle
11 - new drivers rear door seal to repair wind noise - done last week still to early to tell if it fixed the noise

I think that's all for now. I might be missing something still. I also have lost alot of confidence in this truck. I have had major contact with my dealer in regards to all the problems. They have been somewhat helpful but not to the extent I would have expected. I have even spoke with the owner of the dealership.

Some of those issues are common issues / complaints but others sound like its a lemon, especially if they keep replacing the pinion seal. Don't know about Canada laws but I'd see if I could trade it for a different F150 or if you really don't want another see if they can at least buy you out at retail cost

I'd say you've got a lemon. In 39,000km (24,000 miles) I've had:

-Driver's door latch not closing on first try, new cable fixed it
-Sunroof rattle, new track & tsb fixed it for the most part
-Harsh 5-4 shift, TSB fixed it

I'd suggest exhausting all avenues. Get in contact with FoMoCanada Customer service for sure.

I agree some of the issues such as cooled seats and door alignment are known issues which to be honest I can live with , It's the repeat pinion seal and IWE failures that really have got my blood boiling. I was angry when the heat in the cab was blowing ice cold but after they changed the FCIM it has been flawless.

Ive left out the moon roof knocks and squeaks which they have attempted to fix 3 times with no resolution, and the windshield nozzles are frozen even though I'm using correct washer fluid. I realize these are common amongst 2015s so left them out.
