I got a couple new Blis modules yesterday and noticed the end letters are different. Ones an -AC and other is a -BC Do the end letters make a difference?

I just figured out that Forscan changes the right-side module's last 2 letters on its own. I installed 2 -AC mods and it changed the right to -BC. Ford modules. Switched them around, poof, numbers changed again. Must be an identifying signal thing.
Also, you can't use a 2015 and a 2018 module at the same time. There's more data input boxes on the 2018. That was fun....
