I had a scrap 2 x 6 board laying around and after i cut it and made sure i left room to play in the cuts to fit into the brackets I had the Line X dealer spray the board to match the bed. It came out so nice and clean and threw on their logo since they gave me a good deal on painting the board. It also allows my rear bike tire to sit and not slide around. Thank you Rancho Cordova Line X for a job very well done of the truck and the board.

I’ve used a plain ole treated 2x6 for years. I’m kind of surprised no one makes a basic fitted barrier for reasonable money. $250+ is rediculous for the ones that are out there.

Interstingly, as much as trucks have grown in size lately (granted more so in bulk rather than actual measured dimensions), I had to trim mine down about a couple inches to fit in my 2016 vs my 2003 where it last resided.

I like the creativity shown in this thread. Well done!

A cargo net with the board would work wonders for the typical grocery hauler (like me).

Jesus, it just aint working for me. Already spent 30 bucks on pressure treated 2x10 scrap wood. I keep Screwing up on the angle cuts to slip into the Ford bed liner always cutting it short, but the E track clamps give me new hope.😃

Wanted a divider for groceries, a small tool bag, and when we take a small cooler to grill outs. Also, going to have a baby seat base in the middle seat in a few weeks so I dont want to take it out every time I need straps. Didnt want to spend 300 bajillion dollars on the ford divider.

Thanks to this thread it was about 3 dollars for a 2x6 and a leftover can of rubber undercoating! I cut it a tad short so the board is loose but it wont come out.

This is exactly what I want to do. Thanks for the photos! Are you guys chamfering the edges of your boards to fit in those slots? I noticed they are shaped differently than the ones on my ‘13, which were a straight groove that would take a square cut board.
