Default Disappointing build quality?

Picked up my 2018 F150 Lariat 502A 3 weeks ago now, and after 2k KM of driving it, I have to say - The interior build quality seems sub par for a 75k (canadian) truck. Previous to this truck I had a 14 Fx4 sport appearance Pkg and it seemed to be a lot more "solid" feeling inside. No noticeable rattles. After 2k KM I feel like every door panel rattles, and the sunroof too. Hoping they can fix these issues at my first service. Was really looking forward to the B&O Sound system, but can't really enjoy it with everything rattling! My 2008 M3 with Individual sound cranked up has no rattles anywhere...

Maybe sounds like complaining, but I guess I expected more quality for the big price tag on these trucks.

My '16 is a peach. No rattles and all is well. Great truck.

Interesting... Got a couple thousands miles on my 2017 and it's tight as a drum and rattle free. What plant built yours? Just curious....

You will be called a troll multiple times in this thread. I agree Ford's build quality is pretty sad. But standards are low and people don't care. Good luck with the truck.

My 15 has 34k miles on it and haven't had a single issue with it. No rattles, squeaks, air leaks, bad panel fit, etc. has only been back to the dealer three times- all three for complimentary oil changes. These oil changes were completed without issue and to my satisfaction.

I had some squeaks in my 17, but found it was related to the chrome HVAC vent bezels, I wrapped them in vinyl and that resolved the issue entirely.

My only real complaint now is that I can feel the Ebrake cables vibrating in the floor when I go over bumps in my left foot near the far side of the footwell.

I beg to differ. I have the highest standards and expect much. I'm difficult to please with a new truck.

My 39K mile '15 is tomb-quiet, more than I can say for my wife's new Pilot, which is a rattle trap already at 5K miles, even worse now that the weather is getting colder. When I do notice a new noise in my truck, it's always from something I did! D'oh!

My 18 Lariat is freaking quiet as a mouse so far. Only have a few thousand miles.

My 15 XLT was very loud and had so many loose panels, rattles, etc. My 17 is smooth and quiet as can be.
