general question... if i can't get the right alignment from the wheel well, what's the rough tear down time? couple hours?
i've seen a few posts of this being done but i'll need to make sure i get the right order of operations...

FYI-->In the Video, I posted up above, of someone going thru wheel wells it showed turning tires inward. I had to turn outward because my tires are oversized.

I can have both my headlights in and out in under an hour, but I have done it 6 or 7 times....

I just want to see how these particular bulbs fit within the housing and the factory dust boots. And how well they fit into the socket would be nice too. But that is a hard picture to get since you'd have to take it from the front.

I had to get extended dust boots for the ones I have now so the "fins/straps" would fit. And the bulb itself once fully seated and locked in place can move/shift a little within the hole even with the 3 tabs fully secured. It's like the neck of the bulb could be bigger so there's less slop.

...So, I'm just curious.

I don't know if this will help some of you or not. But in regards to working in the wheel-wells instead of removing the headlights, I had the best luck and most room turning the wheel towards me instead of away.

I really didn't want to risk scratching, damaging or maligning anything by removing the entire headlight assemblies... especially just to replace a couple of bulbs. And, this way (at least for me) I didn't have to do any aiming adjustments.

Any tips, tricks or advice on placement of the driver inside of the headlight housing? I have mine arriving this week and going to try to go through the wheel well first...
