Default Differential replacement

I have a 2018 Ford F-150 platinum 4x4 with a L9 rear axle differential and it is damaged ,I have a replacement differential but it is a L3 ,I want to know if it fit in my truck .thank you

are you talking just the guts in the diff or are you talking the whole axle assembly? If they are both from the same axle (super 8.8 or 9.75") then yes you can swap, but the L9 is a 3.55 ratio and the L3 is a 3.31 ratio. If you use any of the 4wd modes it'll bind up and likely grenade something very quickly. Find the correct parts.

I think the L9 is the e-locker diff, too. Ratios are kind'a important on a 4x4....
