No.
I have 4x4.
Glare ice underneath with a little snow on top makes 4x4 and locking axles shine.

This is my first truck with the e-locker. I preferred limited slip on slippery roads. Locker does not go around corners very well.

One annoyance with the e-locker is that it is damn near impossible to engage with winter gloves on. A different profile on the **** would fix that.

My 09 had the 9.75 limited slip axle and my 2016 has the 9.75 elocker axle. The limited slip was significantly better in winter driving conditions. I haven't really used the elocker as I keep forgetting i have it. On a boat ramp...definitely e-locker.

The locker sucks in the snow. When turning one wheel needs to spin faster than the other and the locker doesn’t allow it causing slippage. I don’t engage it in snow or ice. Locker 0, 4x4 1 here.

The locker is only for driving straight. You can use it on turns if the ground is slippery enough otherwise you risk damage. A boat ramp is an ideal situation where it can be used, but with 4wd it may not be needed.

If I had the option I would have liked a limited slip. I have had the E Lock on my last 3 trucks. I do not use it much but it is nice to have when you need it. An open diff without E-lock would be my last choice.
