I also have a squeak that appears to be suspension related and has been there from the start.

Mine has been at the dealer for the last 2 days trying to locate the source of the squeak. 99% sure it's from the rear. Only hear it when the windows are open. Not as noticeable when they are closed.

They haven't been able to figure it out yet.

I would describe it as a high pitch squeak almost like a bird chirp and more evident over uneven roads, but even on smooth roads with minor bumps it's there.

Hoping they find it, it can be annoying and hate to drive with the windows closed all the time to avoid it.
The previous generation f150s were known to have the chirp issue of noise coming from the rear, I had it on a 2009 model and I found the source when the dealer couldn't find it after 5 attempts. The 2013 I had, never had it. Something to check, push on the tailgate while closed, see if you can get some chirping or similar noise, then drive with it down, see if it makes it. I think it's an alignment issue on the tailgate, sometimes grease will fix this, sometimes taking it off and putting it back on will fix. You can open your sliding back window while driving, see if you hear it from back there, you will usually hear it when hitting bumps, also put someone in the back of the truck and drive over bumps and see if they can pinpoint it, but I'd bet it's your tailgate, 50% of the last two generation tailgates chirped going down the road on bumps.

*UPDATE* my noise ended up going away on it's own after the first day I bought it, think it was some rusted spots or something maybe from sitting on the dealer lot, could be wrong but I no longer hear it so that's fine by me

Thanks Infidex, I'll check that out if it's still an issue.

I didn't have any issue with my 2012 that I just traded for my 2015.

The dealer says they think they fixed the squeak but want to check it again in the morning after it sits overnight.

Water guy is coming tomorrow to check on a minor leak in the rear section of the Twin Panel Moonroof that is happening when going through the car wash.

Hoping they solved the squeak issue.

As Infidex suggested, check the alignment of the rubber tailgate stoppers. I had the same chirping sound on my '13 FX4 and I would have sworn that it was related to the suspension. I put up with it (windows closed) for 2 months.

I happened to mention it to one of the auto body guys at the dealership and he knew immediately. He re-aligned the the stopper on the passenger side and the chirp was gone for good. The squeaking was from the stopper rubbing on the metal of the gate.

have you open and closed the glove compartment or tail gate? my glove compartment didn't shut all the way a few times and made a squeak/rattle noise. on my 2009 f150, if I were to shut the tail gate lightly it would latch, but it would squeak until I shut it with a little more force.

Leave it alone if it stopped. Also stop coming on these forums. They make you find problems you didn't know you had.

Thanks for the tips.

I thought they had it fixed. On the drive home leaving the dealer I heard nothing heading to the highway and it was a bumpy road.
Closed the windows on the highway but when I got off an exit about 15 minutes or so later, it was back.

I can also recreate it by standing on the running board and pushing up and down. It seems to be underneath which makes me think it's not the tailgate but I'll check it this weekend.

The dealer is going to raise the issue to Ford on Monday to see what they have to say or recommend.

The water guy did find the leak in the moonroof and adjusted it. Went through the car wash last night and that seems to be corrected.

The only other thing that they're saying they don't feel is a knock in the brake pedal at very slow speeds, such as maneuvering to park. Sometimes I feel the same knock in the steering wheel. My wife feels it too.
Anyone else feel anything similar. Don't want to hijack this thread with this one, will post to another topic later on this one.

Thanks again for the tips!

Hey MustangRichNY,

Shoot me a PM with the current mileage on your rig; I'll see how I can help out on this end.
