Thats the reason I waited for the 16 personally. I didnt want to buy a brand new truck with 5 year old infotainment system when a new on is just around the corner.

IMO the seat problem is not going to be fixed, probably not even in the 2017/2018s. I have the same issue in my 2016 Mustang, but I accept that.

If you are upset with the truck, sell/trade it. If you can accept breaking even to buy something that makes you happy, then do it.

Don't trade in your truck if you are hoping the next truck will be problem free. Besides getting SYNC 3, I doubt any of the other issues will be resolved in a 2017/2018, unless they come out with different seats for the neck and back pain. Maybe look at other trucks if you need a truck and see what those offer and if will make you happy.

Sad seeing stuff not working on a $50k+ truck, makes me glad I can't afford one and only a little XL lol

if DEPRECIATION IS YOUR WORRY, THEN YOU SHOULDNT BE BUYING ANY NEW CARS BECAUSE THEY ALL DEPRECIATE...UNLESS YOU KEEP IT IN PRISTINE CONDITION AND DONT DRIVE IT FOR 50 YEARS, THEN MAYBE.. I DONT UNDERSTAND THIS I BUY VEHICLES TO RUN THEM INTO THE DIRT. BUT ALAS IF YOU DONT LIKE THE PURCHASE AND WONT TAKE A HIT? BUT YOURE JUST BREAKING EVEN NOT GETTING WHAT YOU PUT INTO IT I DONT SEE HOW THATS WORTH DOING SINCE YOU LOSE ALL YOUR DOWN PAYMENT AND PAYMENTS MADE...SEEMS LIKE A WASTE TO ME.

If you don't like the '15, I doubt you're going to like a '16 or '17.

Not sure if a vehicle has Sync 2, 3, 4 or whatever will have any impact on a vehicles trade in value?

Get rid of it if your not happy, and if you can afford it. There's no such thing as breaking even on getting rid of a new truck. Maybe if you kept it for 15 years, you could say that you got your money's worth, but never breaking even. Breaking even means you went to the casino with 500, and came home with 500 after a long night in the red and then black. I highly doubt anyone really cares about sync 3, vs 2, or even 4 at that matter. We here on the forums and maybe some others only really know the difference.

Dumping the 15 now might not be the best idea...you're going to take a huge loss if you paid anywhere near MSRP. The 16's are deeply discounted and the most you'll get for trade is probably thousands under KBB trade value.

From a current truck shopper, sync 2? Vs sync 3 means absolutely jack squat to me. I'm more interested that everything works as it should.

I don't really care for my mft sync 2... I just get in the truck my drive is 10 minutes to work so it's just Pandora or local radio station...
Heard sync 3 is snappier

Sync 3 is much, much, much better than MFT. Although, I didn't really have a problem with MFT while we had it...just certain things have improved that really make a difference. Sync 3 is much more responsive and executes much quicker. AppLink is pretty awesome too...can't wait for CarPlay/Android Auto.
