Have the window sticker for my Lariat. It states convoy. Does that mean it gets trucked from Dearborn to southern Georgia?


Also the day countdown to delivery on COTUS has disappeared. The truck went for the spray in liner in the past 2 days and the date was missing.

Mine says CONVOY too, so curious if it would be trucked entire way from KS City to Colorado.

 

Same thing happened to me & TooMany Cars...
Mine had a count down, then it disappeared
(several people said that happens when it goes for "accessory install")
After a couple days it switched to "in transit" but the count down has not returned. I'm expecting it to switch to "delivered" maybe this evening or tomorrow.

Convoy typically means by truck. It may not just be going to your dealer, there maybe stops along the way. So event though Dearborn (in my case) is only a 10-12 hour drive by truck, it may be making 3, 4, or 5 stops along the way...
That might mean that 12 hour trip turns into 3 or more days!!!

 

Mine came from KC and said convoy. Was shipped by rail however

 

Exactly the same for me.

 

Most of them take a truck from the plant to the rail yard.
