Hey! First time here for me, I have a 2017 F150 that has EPB and I am trying to delete the entire system. Solenoids have been removed from brake callipers. I understand the safety risks of having no parking brake. I have not been able to find much info on any forums for deleting this in Forscan. I attached 2 photos of what I could find but am unsure as it was for a 2018. I have downloaded the AsBuilt for a 2017 with manual parking brake but not sure where to start changes. Any ideas? Thanks

Curious, why? Unfortunately I will be of little help here. Mine is electronic and I just never mess with it. Don't know if I've ever used it honestly.

Well it is kinda complicated. Bought the truck recently for a low price due to many issues some of them being electrical. The one brake solenoid was removed (back end of calliper sealed with silicone to prevent moisture) and all the wiring harnesses to the solenoids snipped! I am assuming that there was prob a more major issue farther into the wiring to cause the person to do this so I just want to remove the system altogether. Also the module was draining the battery trying to engage the calliper every time the vehicle was off so pulling the fuses stopped that as a temporary fix

For giggles I tried the Electronic brake at speed, it properly slowed the vehicle down to a slow roll until almost stopped before it locked the rears solid. Of course it was not as effective as the main hydraulic assist brakes but it did work.
