Default Delete the TPS?

I have the 20" tires and wheels on my 2019 F150 XLT FX4. I was giving thought as to changing over to going with 18" tires and wheels. I have located a set of take offs from a 2018 that are the 18", but do not currently have the tire pressure sensors installed. He is including a new set of TPS in the deal, but in the mean time, if I install them without the TPS what am I going to be dealing with. Will it simply be a light on the dash? Maybe a ding or buzz warning that will eventually stop after a couple of minutes?

I am simply looking at going with a taller sidewall tire for an improved ride.

Thanks in advance,

You will have a small amber light on, on the dash cluster. Unless it's changed for 2019 there are no audible sounds, just the light. If that doesn't bother you there are no real issues other than that.

Like the above states, you'll get a warning and a light. Hit the OK button and the warning will go away. I had a similar situation and used forscan to turn off TPMS. No issues since.
