Default Dealing with the "Platform Manager"

Hi everyone. I'm in the market for a 2015 F150 Lariat 4x4 ecoboost supercrew. 502 package. My question is. What is a FORD "Platform Manager" for an auto group. The guy seems to be really high up in the dealership.

Any advice on dealing with him? He has gave us some business in the past, and asked me to work with him directly. What can I gain?

Any advice on how to proceed?

Thanks in advance

Sounds like a fancy name for a salesman. I worked at a dealer for a few years and never heard of it.

Yep.

Fayncy-pants title to justify a healthy salary I reckon. Owner Vinnie givin' his cousin Rocco's son a 'position'.

In Russia we all time do like this. Family important, da?

Salut!

I've worked in 3 dealers. Never heard of one. All have had a service manager, sales manager and a parts manager.

He is a senior salesman or sales manager, I would guess. In banking, the "platform" is where the loan officers and other professionals have desks, as opposed to the counters where the tellers work.
