Dealer said to add oil additive for cam Phaser noise???
Dealer made a interesting comment and was wondering what everyone thoughts where, the service Manager said he has seen some people significantly reduce the noise of the cam Phaser issue was wondering will it hurt anything or has any one tried kinda odd thing for him to say considering in the manual it says no additives I believe.

What snake oil was he trying to peddle?
Read your manual. You'll notice it's very clear... no additives. Using them could void your warranty.

Not a 'dealer', just some jackass who happens to work for a dealership (and wasn't very well screened for his job).
The exception might be if there really isn't anything wrong with the phasers but you made a stink and he was trying to appease you. But without hearing it myself I can't really say. Perhaps go get a second opinion.

So a 2015 plus F150 still has this cam phaser noise? I had an 05 that did this but never bothered me. Never had an Issue either...

When the dealer says something equate it to someone telling you to smoke crack; basically "just say no". Then do a little research, every once in a while they actually recommend something that is useful; the other 99.28% they just want a chunk of your wallet!!
Good luck with the noise though....

What I did at the first oil change at 3K miles was to use the new M1 0/30, which is an approved substitute for 5/30, and also approved by Ford (latest spec listed at the back), so zero drawbacks. And also zero cold-start noises, since 0/30 flows better than 5/30 when cold (but same viscosity when hot), meaning it lubricates better. And it costs nothing extra. I'd try it if having cold start noises .
