some batteries don't last as long as others. is there a chance something is staying on pulling juice from the battery?

My son went thru 3 in his 2014 Explorer, first 2 years or so, wasnt until we replaced the last one with a Walmart that he has had no more battery issues.

 

Motorcraft batteries have a two year warranty, take it to the dealer, Ford dealers replace warranty batteries often, Toyota dealers replace warranty batteries often, NAPA replaces warranty batteries often, Audi dealers replaced warranty batteries often, O'Reillys replaces warranty batteries often.
Sometimes there is a bad batch and it hits the dealers worse since that batch of thousands of batteries are in thousands of trucks and they all die around the same time.
