Default Daytime Running Lights

I have the 2018 4x4 XLT. I have had a few instances of semi's blowing their horn at me as I passed them. I am doing nothing wrong that I know of. I am assuming its my lights? I turned them off yesterday but cant image they to bright?

IIRC your daytime running lights are your low beam bulbs. You can use Forscan to change it to something else if you'd like. I currently have my turn signals set to DRL function. I like the contrast of the Amber against the dark Magnetic gray and black STX grill on my truck.

Are your brights on?
With my daytime running lights on, my turn signal switch will flip brights on and off.

You are passing a Semi truck driver is the problem. Semi truck drivers think they own the road and you shall not pass.

Actually...up here the majority DRLs using halogens are generally the high beams powered down to 60%

I got the chance yesterday to have a friend look at. They seem to be OK. I just going to keep them off.

There’s a TSB to reprogram the led DRLs as they are known to be too bright and need adjustment.

edit: I see you have an XLT, so likely do not have LEDs.
