Default date on screen is off?

2015 XLT, with the 8" touch screen....
I've noticed the last week that the date on my screen is off by one day.

There is no way to reset or set the date it seems through the "Settings" button.

How does the truck "know" what date it is and how can I correct it?

... is this any sign of a battery issue?

Where do you even go to see a calendar or date?

Well now, this is very interesting. If I read the attachment provided from tmcolegr correctly vehicles w/o nav still have a GPS signal receiver and antenna?
In my 2017 owner manual page 505 it indicates Auto Time zone Update: When active, the clock adjusts to time zone changes. This feature is only available in vehicles with navigation.
What would explain the full date offset being incorrect?

My truck doesn’t have navigation.
however, under settings I can adjust the time manually. However there are no settings for calendar, so it has to be getting a signal somewhere or is stored in the computer somewhere.

I will give what @tmcolegr shared this weekend when I have time.

... I do wonder if it is any indication that my battery is dying and on the way out... it’s 4 years old... guess I should test that too while I’m at it.
