Default Dashcam question

I have a dual video dashcam. It doesn't pick up people hitting you with their door. Would a 360 degree cam pick up on these type of hits?

unless you get hit a lot in parking lots, the cost of the cameras would be more than a PDR person to fix it.

A 360 would do better, but not really. Nothing taken from inside the car unless it is pointed out the window is really going to pick up much detail for stuff like that.

Have you tried overlapping your cams? Front facing cam mounted near the back seat overhead light, rear facing cam mounted near overhead console.

360º cams are good for showing events, bur largely suck at providing license plate numbers for identification. Even Tesla's side cams won't help if the perp pulls in forward and backs out, unless the vehicle has a front plate.
