Dash speaker question

Hey all so I have a 2017 and I was taking the dash apart to put in the down hill control button and found a pigtail to nothing and was wondering if that is for the dash speaker? If I were to buy one and plug it in would it just work ?

What trim level do you have? probably just need to enable 7 speakers in forscan.
