Default Dash rattles

My 2015 F-150 had 86 miles on it when I took delivery, and the cab was silent. At 330 miles, it developed a dash rattle, and now at 660 miles it has a couple of dash rattles, and the steering wheel sometimes squeaks when steering.

One of the rattles seems to be coming from the center-top of the dash, near the windshield. The other seems to be coming from behind or beside the LCD display in the center of the console.

Has anybody else had rattles like these, and were you able to get them resolved by Ford?

If you can have someone feel around to isolate the exact place the rattle is taking place, it would be a lot easier for the dealership to fix. Personally, I'd find the spot, and use some thin adhesive felt to stop it.

I've had better luck fixing rattles myself, as the dealership can never duplicate the issue.

As far as my truck, no rattles, no squeaks, the only thing I have an issue with are the cooled seats not performing to spec.

No rattles or squeaks in my truck OTHER THAN the moonroof. It rattles loudly over almost every bump and it is driving me nucking futs.

Rattles are tough to get handled by a dealer. It takes time to find them and there is no book allowance for flat rate techs, so usually it's handed off to the straight time guys.

On a brand-new $40K truck, it seems like the warranty should make some kind of allowance for finding rattles. My Honda Odyssey with almost 70K miles doesn't rattle like this.

I'll see if I can make any headway with the dealership, but suspect srg is right that I'll need to fix it myself (if I can find it).

Agreed. I had a rattle drivers side door or dash. I isolated it to the piece in-between the door and dash. You can not get to it when the door is closed. I figured it out R&R the pice made sure the felt / foam pieces were in place and now its gone.
