Anyone else had this issue?
2016 Sport with this same rattle. I think I have narrowed down the culprit as the left bottom screw on the cluster itself. I backed it out a bit and stuffed some foam weather stripping behind the cluster a bit and it seems to have stopped. You have to take some of the trim off to get to it. Starting under the steering wheel, pop down the piece with the headlight switch on both sides of the wheel. There will be a 7mm copper screw on each side. After removing those you will be able to pop up the two trim pieces above the wheel revealing the screw for the cluster. Just did it this weekend and haven't heard a rattle again yet.

I had an instrument cluster rattle last winter. Seems to have fixed itself though the cold weather might bring it out again. I had the entirety of my dash apart, instrument cluster out, vents etc and still couldn't track it down. It's like an itch you can't scratch..

Just wanted to let you know that I’ve had these same rattles in my 2018 stx and rattles are my biggest pet peeve, ESPECIALLY on a new truck. I popped out every song trim piece and wrapped a single piece of electrical tape around each of the white tabs. Yes it feels like your going to break the trim pieces when you remove it. Just be quick and easy with it. On the actual gauge cluster trim I removed the small piece going across the bottom of the cluster first and then the large trim around the cluster. I didn’t remove it completely, only enough to get some tape on the tabs I could reach from the top. Everything clicked back together and it now feels solid just like it should have from the factory.

Having the same dash rattle. Tried everything I could think of but came across this video:

Will try it tomorrow.

Maybe this will help any of you.

Default Rattle in dash while moving

I have a 2014 F-150 STX that has started rattling in the dash, it appears to only be doing it when the truck is moving. Anyone have any ideas on this. It just started doing it and will see if it still does it tomorrow when I drive to work.
