So I have my Yamaha boat entered into my towing screen for my backup assist. No problems for a couple of years. I last hooked up my boat about two weeks ago and all was well. Parked and disconnected it with no issues. But know when I start up my truck the center screen behind the wheel displays the “towing information” screen. It shows that my trailer is disconnected. If I arrow back to the my view screen and pick digital speedometer or any other screen when I turn off the truck and start it up again it diverts back to the towing screen. Never had this issue before. Do I need to reconnect trailer or reset something? Thanks for help in advance.

I think that happened to mine on time. I believe I went back to where you set the options for the trailer and clicked a not connected type of option. Only happen once.

I believe there is some memory involved that may be doing it.
I sometimes see the same on startup without the trailer hooked up and connected.
Once the 7 pin plug is in, the module stores some info according to the selections made, that may not be cleared when the plug is pulled.
Other screens come up as reminders to be sure to check some items as a safety to the driver, especially if a different driver gets in and does not remember or pay attention.
