Dangerous Suspension??

I have 2016 supercrew Platinum with FX4, 5.5ft bed, 20" wheels, all stock. My back end kicks to the left when I hit one of those creases in the pavement. It's worse when streets are wet and there is a curve. It definitely caught me by surprise the first time it happened. This is my first truck so I wasn't sure if this was just a truck thing or something to do with the 4x4 suspension. It's my daily driver and most days there isn't anything in the bed.

'15 SCREW Lariat 3.5EB FX4, tow pkg, 20" w/ Hankook tires. Haven't had any problems with the back end kicking out and I drive on plenty of crappy roads at various speeds. Pre-Helwig anti-sway, it bounced a bit, but nothing I would call unstable or dangerous. Post-Helwig anti-sway, the back end is definitely more settled down and I think the truck actually handles quite well for its size. I'm also pleasantly surprised by how stable and quiet the Hankooks ride. I'll be interested to hear how the Bilstein 5100's perform compared to the stock FX4 shocks.

Not saying trucks don't skip around a bit on rough pavement, just saying everyone's reaction to it is all over the place. I think it's more a driver issue than a truck issue.
What one guys thinks is dangerous and erratic, another takes in stride as the best handling truck he's ever had.
Just my worthless $.02 opinion...

Have a 2016 F-150 and experience same thing. Feels like rear is mounted solid, no springs. Hesitate to ad stiffer shocks. Just looking for better ride. Did add air bags for twing, 5-10psi eeempty heps but doe seem to need better shocks. Any suggeions???

Did the same rougher than anyone should have to drive 60 mile 2 lanes with 100' of 2" sewer pipe, 75 lb. bag of tools in the box, and 3 sacks of 2" pipe fittings. Narry one problem. Thie F150 XLT Sport 2.7 crew with 3.73 Elocker is the real deal. Best truck I have ever owned or driven. It is quick. It is snappy mt but it takes attention, good driver awareness same as all very quick snappy vehicles do. My average daily load is between 300 lbs and 700 lbs in the bed and it is the best at it I have ever owned.

For what it's worth. I had the hop skip issue on my 16XLT 3.5 5.5 non FX4 crew. I had 3 test bumps to try after i installed Fox 2.0s. Shocks installed today, 30 minute test over 3 areas... hop/skip gone. One of them was a straight ahead 50 MPH utility patch that would wiggle the truck so bad it would knock off the cruise control. It's still a bump now, but no wiggle, no cruise control disengagement. I'd say pick a rear shock, any decent quality shock and upgrade. I didn't think I'd have to upgrade my shocks at 5000 miles, but I'm having fun doing a lil wrenching.

I will stick with my OEM setup as I haul loads repetative with very little mt. Can understand soft riding desired for some that just commute rough city/rural jaunts to work though. Mine carrying 500 lbs will do 2 short bounces on the rumble strip type road hazards. Very much a drivers comfort/ control feel. My experience with wishbone suspensions always pointed to quick snappy control feelings. The Supra would emit boing-Boing sounds over bumps in the road and it seemed like tire foot print was a foot wide.
